Claire Pettibone

The daughter of artist parents, Claire followed her own creative path by studying fashion at Otis Parsons School of Design, and began her career designing lingerie. A few years later, Claire met her future husband Guy Toley, and the pair began dreaming of starting a business together while planning their wedding. Those first years were a whirlwind for the young couple as they launched the Claire Pettibone brand in 1994 as a start-up from their living room. The collection quickly became a worldwide success, and they moved production out of their house into a fairy-tale-come-true atelier in Los Angeles. They've since became a family of three, (plus a sweet rescue dog and a grumpy orange cat) and their love story continues...
